3-GIS to Give Presentations and Demonstrate New Product Features at the Esri International User Conference

  • Rating12345

3-GIS, a GIS software development company based in Decatur, Alabama will exhibit in booth 2008 at the Esri International User Conference July 9-11 in San Diego, California. This is the 7th year 3-GIS has attended the Esri UC and the 2nd year to attend as a Gold Partner.

3-GIS continues to expand its core software products built on Esri’s new ArcGIS Server 10.2. Numerous products will be shown at the booth, which demonstrate 3-GIS’ commitment to taking GIS in new directions for utility and telecommunication companies.  The recently launched 3-GIS|Live, has the ability to host all saved data in a cloud delivery model.  Ready to support any level of enterprise; from 5 to 5000 users, the cloud gives users the ability to ‘go-live’ in a matter of minutes.  In addition, 3-GIS’ Network Solution products that will be shown consist of 3-GIS|Web, a full functional web-based asset management solution; 3-GIS|Mobile, a tightly integrated mobile solution, and 3-GIS|Admin, a platform for easily configuring the solution and enabling enterprise integration.  Furthermore, 3-GIS once again shows its commitment to staying on the leading edge of GIS technology by showcasing their new Android and Windows tablet applications with 3-GIS Mobile.  Not only able to view GIS data, 3-GIS Mobile for Android and Windows tablets can also EDIT both feature level and related record data.

3-GIS will also be demonstrating their new High Accuracy GPS solution.  In conjunction with GTI, 3-GIS has integrated a high-accuracy external GPS receiver with an Android operating system to allow tablet-based data collection that results in ultra-high quality GPS data.  The high-accuracy GPS utilizes a satellite-based correction system that provides sub-foot accuracy in real time, without the need for post-processing.  This streamlined process will significantly reduce the total cost of collecting GPS data, because it will completely eliminate the need for any in-office post-processing.  This technology will be applied to recording the location of main and service installations, marker-balls, leaks, and other Distribution Integrity Management Program (DIMP) requirements.

In addition to exhibiting, 3-GIS will make multiple presentations at the Esri User Conference.  On Tuesday July 9th at 1:30pm, 3-GIS will have a Leak Survey Management presentation in room 29D.  On Wednesday July 10th at 12:00pm, 3-GIS will have a Mobile presentation in room 4.  Lastly, on Wednesday the 10th at 3:15pm, 3-GIS, along with GTI, will present on Mobile solutions, as well as the Cloud Delivery Models in room 26A.

“For the past 7 years, The Esri User Conference has been our premiere event. When we attend, we showcase what’s new and cutting edge with our solutions. This year we are excited to talk to people about the Cloud and the simplicity it can bring to the GIS world,” says Tom Counts, president of 3-GIS. “Our goal is to create smart, simple, easy-to-use and affordable GIS solutions and I am proud to say that we are providing just that. It you are looking to affordably GIS-enable your organization, I encourage you to come see us in Booth 2008.”
