3-GIS, a global leading innovator of smart geospatial solutions, has added a new Executive Solutions Consultant, Michael Measels, to its team. Measels has a background in facilitating corporate growth through customer centric solutions development, which will enable 3-GIS to extend their cloud hosted solution, 3-GIS|Live, into broader market segments and customers.
Measels comes to 3-GIS with over 15 years of experience in developing customer driven solutions within the GIS industry and a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and GIS from Samford University. Prior to joining 3-GIS, Measels held the position of Executive Vice President of Information Solutions at a Tennessee based technology services company. While in this position, he helped provide location enabled intelligence solutions to the federal government. Measels’ diverse career path has allowed him to geospatially enable rural utilities, manage complex municipal utility programs, as well as enable intelligence officers and warfighters on the battlefield. His experience in applying geospatially enabled solutions for utility infrastructure management will prove invaluable to 3-GIS as it extends its customer base. This experience spans across each service sector of the utility market including the electric, gas, water and telecommunication industries.

As Executive Solutions Consultant, Measels will work closely with the service delivery group and core product team to develop additional opportunities to extend the core 3-GIS|Live product. In addition, he will work directly with the company’s leadership team at its headquarters in Decatur, Alabama to create additional service opportunities adjacent to its core product offerings. “I have enjoyed following the growth of 3-GIS in terms of product and customers over the years and am both humbled and excited to be added to the 3-GIS team.
