STAR-APIC to Show New Major Release of Mercator at AAG Annual Meeting

Mercator Suite 7, the new version of STAR-APIC’s cartographic production software, will be demonstrated for the first time in the US on the STAR-APIC stand (booth 419) at the Annual Meeting of the Association of American Geographers (AAG) from March 23-27, 2009 in Las Vegas.

Over 7000 visitors and delegates are expected to attend this year’s event that includes over 4000 presentations and over 60 exhibitors. In addition to the introduction of PDF, Mercator Suite 7 offers a range of new functions, enabling its users to produce maps and related products even more easily and efficiently than before. A number of these functions have been integrated from MercatorDB, the database-linked version of Mercator, which will also be demonstrated. uality mapping efficiently and consistently with MERCATOR” on Wednesday March 25th at 3:10pm.
