PR — ITT Corporation (NYSE: ITT) announced today that Thomas A. Sabbatelli, a graduate of Pennsylvania State University, has been awarded an American Metrological Society (AMS)/ITT graduate fellowship.
Sabbatelli graduated this spring with a degree in meteorology and will pursue a master’s in the same field of study at Penn State. He is from Yardley, Pennsylvania and is a 2004 graduate of Holy Ghost Preparatory School.
AMS/ITT graduate fellowship winners are selected on the basis of outstanding academic achievement, personal accomplishments and a detailed description of the dissertation topic and proposed research plan.

The AMS/ITT graduate fellowship is awarded to a student wishing to complete a dissertation on the history of the atmosphere, or related oceanic or hydrologic sciences. The award carries a $15,000 stipend and will support one year of dissertation research.
