GIS Development , the organiser of Map Middle East 2009, is pleased to announce that South Korea’ s first astronaut Dr. Yi So-yeon has agreed to attend and deliver a Special Address at Map Middle East 2009, the 5th Annual Middle East Conference & Exhibition on Geospatial Information, Technology and Applications. The upcoming conference – scheduled for April 26 – 28, 2009 at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center –will address various issues related to the theme “Geospatial @Work”. At the conference will be highlighted the latest trends in the geospatial technology and the applications and utilit ies of geospatial information in different fields will also be showcased.
