Ex QinetiQ Rhodes Joins GGP Systems

PR – GGP Systems has appointed Dr Frank Rhodes to the position of  Business Development Manager. Previously Business Development Manager for the  leading international defence and security company, QinetiQ, Rhodes has more  than 25 years experience of delivering Business, ICT Consultancy and Project  Management solutions to government clients.  An expert in e-Business  Solutions including e-commerce, content management systems, online database  applications and websites, Rhodes will be responsible for developing GGP ’s range  of e-Government solutions. Tim Maxwell, Managing Director and  Founder of the Croydon based Company commented on the appointment, “Frank will  make a valuable contribution to our existing Local Government team. He has a  proven track record in sales, experience of the UK Local Authority market and an  extensive technical knowledge base.” At QinetiQ Rhodes specialised  in the development of e-Business and Education markets. 

He also worked for  two years as an independent consultant selling online business strategies and  solutions to SME and corporate clients.  Rhodes initially trained as a  Mechanical Engineering Draughtsman and holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering  from the University of Teesside and a PhD in Mathematical Modelling from the  University of Strathclyde in Glasgow. GGP Systems is the leading supplier of geographical information  and address management solutions to Local Authorities in the UK.  The  company designs  software solutions specifically for local authorities. It  provides Councils with  easy to use solutions for the creation and management of  corporate property databases, the ability to add and use a spatial element to  all location based information and a range of solutions to meet e-Government  directives.
