ComputaMaps, a leading geodata manufacturer and supplier, announced the launch of its Geodata Catalog http://brightearth.computamaps.com/Catalog/ , a new resource for browsing and locating available data form the company’s extensive geodata catalog.
The Geodata Catalog is designed to serve as the primary access point to ComputaMaps’ growing electronic spatial data collection, one of the world’s largest commercial archives of digital geodata. To date, ComputaMaps has produced multilayer databases integrating terrain, clutter, orthoimagery and vectors for 197 countries and over 3000 cities and towns, including commercial and freely downloadable data. Data is updated continuously to ensure clients the latest available information. ComputaMap’s geodata is used in a multitude of applications such as wireless telecommunications planning, 3D visualization and simulation, aviation and flight safety, navigation, natural resource management, and more.
The easy-to-use Geodata Catalog is being developed in-house, utilizing the familiar Google© Maps API.
