Chile’s Environmental Superintendent, Cristian Franz, last week announced the launch of the National Environmental Enforcement Network (RENFA). The new network, comprising 16 agencies with environmental responsibilities under the Superintendent, will increase the number of environmental inspectors in the country from the current 100 to 600.
