Version 1.3 of Pix4Dmapper Released

Pix4Dmapper automatically processes terrestrial and aerial imagery acquired by light-weight UAV or aircraft using its innovative technology based purely on image content. And converts your images into highly precise, customizable and timely results for a wide range of GIS and CAD applications.

Version 1.3 includes following new features:

Mesh:  Version 1.3 creates a full textured 3D mesh that can be exported in OBJ, PLY and 3D PDF format and be used for Fly-through animations.

GPU support: Leverage the power of Nvidia GPUs for faster processing. GPU support will improve initial processing speed from 10% to 75% depending on image content and project size and is also used for densification and semiglobal matching.

Automatic brightness and color correction: This new feature automatically compensates for change of brightness, luminosity and color balancing of images to generate visually improved orthomosaics.

Improved DTM extraction: In addition to the automatic classification, Version 1.3 gives users more control by offering more selection tools to manually select and delete points and by classifying points into classes.

And more: Additional features and improvements such as project splitting for large-scale mapping projects, standard camera rig support for more robust and faster processing of camera rigs from known manufacturers, improved point cloud editing and Fly-through animations.
