IDRISI to Incorporate BioCarbon Fund Methodology and OSIRIS in its Land Change Modeler for REDD+

Clark Labs will release new software tools for REDD+ to be unveiled at Forest Day, a leading global platform for forests and climate change held during COP16.  These new tools, to be released in 2011, strengthen IDRISI’s utility for REDD projects. IDRISI’s Land Change Modeler will incorporate an interface to the OSIRIS tool, developed by Conservation International and others, as well as new functionality for measuring carbon emissions utilizing the World Bank’s BioCarbon Fund Methodology.
