UK Marine Strategy Framework Directive

The MSFD will have implications for all sectors working in the marine environment in terms of the effects they have on a wide range of environmental factors – see below – that describe Good Environmental  Status (GES).
The aim of this conference is to update delegates on the progress with the Marine Strategy Framework Directive (MSFD) and it will be particularly helpful for people involved with responding to the transposition consultation and interested in meeting Good Environmental Status standards.

Who should attend?

•    Stakeholders who will be responding to the MSFD transposition consultation (see below)
•    Professionals engaged in measuring and monitoring the 11 descriptors of Good Environmental Status
•    Sector representatives involved with the Habitats Directive, WFD or fisheries (CFP) whose interests coincide and interact with the MSFD
